Our dance company is for the more serious dancer who wants to train at the highest level possible. Our dance company members take classes in all areas of dance to be the best they can be, both as technical dancers and as artists. We challenge our company dancers to go beyond the steps and to embrace dance as an art form that truly inspires others.
 

Dancers in the OYSP company participate in multiple competitions throughout the season. In addition, they have the opportunity to attend regional conventions where they can study with some of the best teachers in the country. We also offer our dancers a special in-studio dance intensive with guest artists who challenge the students both creatively and technically.

We believe in well-rounded dancers and our dancers are that for sure! Dancers in our company study all areas including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pointe and Musical Theater.
